Branch
Scientific branch Eligible in all specializations
Literary & Religious branch All specializations save the faculties of Science, Nursing, Allied Medical Sciences, Engineering, & Pharmacy.
Information Management: Tracks 1&2 Track 1: all specializations save Arabic Language & Literature, Allied Medical Sciences, Nursing, Engineering, Pharmacy, Physics, & Maths Track 2: all specializations for Physics & Maths students, Industrial Engineering, & Communicational Engineering but not allowed for Arabic Language & Literature, Nursing, Allied Medical Sciences, Physics, & Pharmacy.
Nursing branch Eligible in the Faculties of: Nursing, Science, IT, Allied Medical Sciences, Educational Sciences, & specializations of Management Information Systems.
Professional Branches Industrial Branch: the Faculties of Engineering (except Architectural Engineering) Science, IT, Educational Sciences, Fine Arts & Design, & specializations of Management Information Systems. Agricultural Branch: the Faculties of Science, Educational Sciences, & specializations of Management Information Systems. Commercial Branch: the Faculties of Sharia’, Arts, Economics & Administrative Sciences, Educational Sciences, Law, & Fine Arts & Design. Hotel Branch: the Faculties of Sharia’, Arts, Economics & Administrative Sciences, Educational Sciences, Law, & Fine Arts & Design. Household Economy Branch: the Faculties of Arts, Economics & Administrative Sciences, Sharia’, Law, & Educational Sciences. Health Education Branch: the Faculties of Nursing, Allied Medical Sciences, Science, IT(under the condition of studying Maths (099), (101), (102), & specializations of Management Information Systems.

75% Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences
75% Faculties of: Sharia’/Law/Nursing
60% Other Faculties
68% Graduate Studies

Note: student is supposed to pass the additional two courses for the concerned

Registration Procedures

Fresh students are expected to follow the following steps Filling up the enrolment form at Admission & Registration Department

First: Fresh Students with high Secondary Certificate from Jordan or equivalent
  • Original copy of the high secondary school marks sheet or attested copy from the Ministry of Education
  • Original copy of birth certificate or a tested copy
  • A copy of ID – civil Status Department or passport
  • Two photos (4x6)
Second: Students transferred from other universities to ZU.
  • The above mentioned documents in Item 1
  • The university from which students transfer should be recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, or recognition letter from students embassy.
  • Attested mark sheet from the transferred university. In addition, courses above 60% should be equivalent.
  • Course description of the courses studied.
  • Students should not be academically expelled. (a letter of good conduct from the university students transferred from)
  • Equivalence of courses studied during the last 7 years for scientific specializations and 15 years for humanities.
Third: Bridging studies
  • Comprehensive exam average should not be less than 68% and 70% for Engineering and Pharmacy. For equivalence purposes, courses less than 68% for Humanities and 70% for Scientific Specializations will not be considered.
  • The Institution (College) should be recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
  • A copy of marks sheet (for Diploma) attested from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
