Zarqa University welcomed His Excellency Sheikh Saud bin Nasser bin Jassim Al Thani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, on Tuesday, October 20, 2026. During his visit to the university campus, His Excellency toured several university facilities, including the Faculty of Dentistry.

His Excellency Sheikh Saud bin Nasser expressed his pleasure at visiting Zarqa University and his admiration for its facilities, academic and educational infrastructure, and modern resources and equipment that contribute to fostering a supportive learning environment.

For his part, the President of Zarqa University, Professor Nidal Al-Ramahi, expressed his appreciation for the Ambassador’s visit, emphasizing the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the State of Qatar. He also reaffirmed the University’s commitment to strengthening ties and fostering cooperation with various institutions and organizations in ways that support the advancement of higher education and promote the exchange of expertise and knowledge.

The visit included a tour of the university campus and the Faculty of Dentistry, during which His Excellency was introduced to the University’s academic environment, educational facilities, and resources available to students, reflecting its ongoing commitment to development and the continuous improvement of educational and training standards.
