Zarqa University honored the students of the Summer Qur’an Center at the University Mosque on Thursday, August 27, 2026, in the presence of the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Sharia, Dr. Abdel Fattah Okasha, along with a number of parents of the participating students.

The Dean of the Faculty of Sharia, Professor Dr. Abdul Rahim Al-Sharif, emphasized the importance of summer Qur’an centers in strengthening students’ connection with the Holy Qur’an, instilling Islamic values, and making productive use of their free time in ways that contribute to their personal and educational development. He also praised the efforts made in organizing the center and the various programs and activities it provides for students.

He explained that the establishment of the center reflects the University’s commitment to supporting initiatives and programs aimed at serving the Holy Qur’an and promoting Islamic values and ethics among students.

He also expressed his appreciation to His Excellency Dr. Mahmoud Abu Shaera, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zarqa Company for Education and Investment, for his continued support of the University Mosque and the students of the Summer Qur’an Center. He further thanked the President of Zarqa University, Professor Dr. Nidal Al-Ramahi, for his sponsorship and support, as well as the Ministry of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs and Holy Places for its cooperation and efforts in ensuring the success of the program.
