Tiger Scholarship Meets with Students at Zarqa University

As part of Zarqa University's commitment to supporting Syrian students and empowering them academically, the university welcomed His Excellency Engineer Walid Al-Zoubi, Chairman of the Tiger Group, who funds the Tiger Scholarship for Syrian students at the university, on Wednesday, March 19th, 2025.

Engineer Walid Al-Zoubi praised the importance of the Tiger Scholarship in supporting Syrian students and enhancing their academic and professional futures, stressing the need to make the most of it.

Al-Zoubi listened to the students' comments and inquiries, emphasizing the ongoing cooperation to support their educational journey. He explained that this meeting is part of the Tiger Scholarship's ongoing efforts to enhance higher education opportunities for Syrian students and its commitment to providing academic and administrative support to ensure their success in their academic journey.

Prof. Dr. Nidal Al-Ramahi, President of Zarqa University, affirmed the university's commitment to providing a supportive educational environment for Syrian students, commending the effective partnership with donors that contribute to empowering students academically and enhancing their opportunities in higher education.

During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Khaled Al-Zaidian, Dean of Admissions and Registration, provided a comprehensive explanation of the academic programs offered by Zarqa University, which aim to hone students' skills and enable them to acquire knowledge and science using the best available means.

He pointed out the importance of these meetings in clarifying the scholarship mechanisms and answering students' inquiries, emphasizing that the Deanship of Admissions and Registration always strives to provide the necessary facilities to ensure students' easy and smooth enrollment in their academic programs.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Alaa Eddin Sadeq, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Khaled Al-Zaidianand, and a group of Syrian students.
