Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Nidal Al-Ramahi, the President of Zarqa University, the Faculty of Sharia launched the Royal Khatmah of the Holy Quran, on Thursday, November 14^th, 2024.

This Khatmah comes in response to the initiative launched by His Majesty King Abdullah II, and the initiative includes all governorates of the Kingdom, including centers for memorizing the Holy Quran, mosques, schools, and universities.

Prof. Dr. Al-Ramahi stressed the university's commitment to the royal initiatives that aim to enhance the faith aspect among university students in terms of connecting them to the Holy Quran through recitation, memorization and understanding, so that they will be characterized by the morals of the true religion.

He pointed out that the university has prepared a plan in cooperation with the Faculty of Sharia to proceed with the success of the project of Khatmah of the Holy Quran, so that the university will be a beacon of knowledge and work in which the Holy Quran is always recited.

Prof. Dr. Anas Al-Khalayleh, the Dean of the Faculty of Sharia, stressed the religious and historical importance of this Khatmah and its role in preserving the correct recitation of the Holy Quran, stressing the need to adhere to these standards to achieve the desired benefit from it.

Al-Khalayleh added that the Faculty of Sharia at Zarqa University always seeks to adhere to these initiatives, implement them and involve its students and students of other specializations because they bring them knowledge, information, and great reward.
