During the
period 16-18 April 2024, both Dr. Saher Al-Qaralah, the Deputy Dean of the Faculty
of Arts, and Dr. Enas Al-Khalayla from the Faculty of Arts at Zarqa University,
participated in the Conference on Modern Linguistic Theories and the Arabic
Language, which was held at Al Al-Bayt University.
Al-Qaralah
presented a research paper entitled “The Reason for the Opponent’s Argument, Its
Applications, and Its Effect on Linguistic Restriction, a Study in the Book Al-Insaaf
by Abu Al-Barakat Al-Anbari.” It aimed to determine the reason for the
opponent’s argument and to know the extent of reliance on this argument for
linguistic restriction.
Al-Khalayleh
presented a research paper entitled “Standard Morphological Issues and their Linguistic
Reality in Modern Linguistics: Verb Tenses and Morphological Scale as a Model,”
in which she dealt with a morphological topic about the issues of the verb and
its tenses, and the morphological scale and its linguistic realism, and their
relationship to modern linguistics, and what it predicts about their
truthfulness and realism in ancient and modern linguistic utterances.
Professor Dr.
Alaa Eddin Sadeq, the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty
of Arts, said that Zarqa University, through its faculties and scientific
committees, supports the academic career of faculty members by motivating them
to participate in conferences.
