The Acting President of Zarqa University, Prof. Nader Abu Sheikha, opened the third scientific day of the Deanship of Scientific Research in the presence of the Dean of Scientific Research, Dr. Ghareeb Ghareeb, and a number of deans of faculties at the University.

Prof. Nader Abu Sheikha, welcomed the participants of the scientific day from Jordanian research and scientific institutions, noting that Zarqa University is promoting a strategy whose vision is to achieve excellence in educational, research and community services at the local, national, Arab and international levels. Its mission is to develop competent scientific capacities and the production of innovative scientific research contributes to building the knowledge economy, all within the framework of values of transparency, clarity, justice and creativity.

Dr. Abu Sheikha concluded by thanking the Dean of Scientific Research Dr. Ghareeb Ghareeb, the deans of the faculties, the director of Cultural and Public Relations, Mr. Rashid Freihat, his assistants in the department, and the members of the faculty, administration and students, facilitated, facilitated and coordinated this work.

Dr Ghareeb Ghareeb stressed in his speech the importance of science as the highest value in human existence since that first founding moment. This unique meaning was reinforced when the first word in the formation of Islam as a universal message to all human beings was (Recite in the name of your Lord who created), and between these two immortal moments humanity advanced towards the true horizon of knowledge, and created its own civilization. The science and traditions of scientific research have been established as one of the most profound and most effective cultural values ​​in the advancement of humanity, and elevate them towards spiritual, moral and cognitive perfection.

He also stressed the environment and factors necessary to promote research.

The Client Advisory for the Middle East and Turkey at Elsevier, Mr. Wael Mansour, presented the Elsevier workshop entitled "Scopus Base and Criteria for the Journal of Scientific Journals."
