On Monday, September 8th,
2025, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Zarqa University organized the oath taking
ceremony for its graduating students for the summer semester of 2024/2025. The
ceremony was held in a festive atmosphere that embodied the joy of students and
their families at the fruit of years of hard work and dedication.
The ceremony was sponsored by Prof.
Dr. Nidal Al-Ramahi, the President of the University, and was attended by Dr.
Ahlam Al-Kilani, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, members of the faculty
and administration, and the families of the graduating students, who shared the
joy of their children's graduation and taking the legal oath.
Student Raghad Al-Ghazali, the top
student in the graduating class, delivered a speech on behalf of her
colleagues, she expressed her pride in belonging to the Faculty of Pharmacy and
Zarqa University, stressing that the knowledge, skills, and training they
receive prepares them to embark confidently on their professional careers,
placing a great responsibility on their shoulders to serve their country and
society. She extended special thanks to their Professors, who generously
provided them with knowledge and guidance, and to their families, who supported
them throughout their academic journey.
In his speech, Prof. Al-Ramahi
emphasized that Zarqa University places special emphasis on its graduates,
ensuring that they keep abreast of the latest scientific developments in
academic and training programs.
He pointed out that the pharmacy
profession requires a commitment to human values before scientific ones, and
that taking the legal oath constitutes a pledge by graduates to practice the profession
with integrity and responsibility.
Dr. Al-Kilani expressed her pride in
the graduating students, noting that the faculty has been able to strengthen
its position in the Kingdom over the past years thanks to its distinguished
academic staff and advanced curricula.
She explained that the Faculty
continuously strives to provide students with the practical and academic skills
that qualify them for the local and regional labor market. At the conclusion of
the ceremony, University President Prof. Dr. Nidal Al-Ramahi and Dean of the Faculty
of Pharmacy Dr. Ahlam Al-Kilani honored the graduating students and the
ceremony organizers, as well as the winning students in the national pharmacy Faculty
competition. They were presented with shields of appreciation in recognition of
their excellence and efforts.
