On Sunday, September 7th,
2025, Zarqa University inaugurated the podcast studio at the Faculty of Media,
with support from the Namaa Charitable Foundation of Kuwait. The studio aims to
provide distinguished Arabic content that contributes to raising awareness and
enhancing positive influence among young people.
The opening ceremony was attended by
Prof. Dr. Nidal Aisha, the University's Vice President for Administrative
Affairs; Dr. Amjad Safouri, the Dean of the Faculty of Media; Prof. Dr. Saad
Marzouq Al-Otaibi, the CEO of the Namaa Charitable Foundation; and the
accompanying delegation, along with several faculty members from the Faculty of
Media.
The opening included a special
episode of the podcast studio featuring a conversation with Prof. Dr. Saad
Marzouq Al-Otaibi. A cooperation agreement was also signed between Zarqa
University and the Namaa Charitable Foundation, which aims to produce
awareness-raising and educational content, showcase success stories from the
community, and enhance the role of digital media as an effective tool for
positive social change.
The agreement was signed on behalf
of the university by Prof. Dr. Nidal Al-Ramahi, its President, and on behalf of
the Namaa Charitable Foundation by Prof. Dr. Saad Marzouq. Al-Otaibi, its CEO,
in the presence of Prof. Aisha, and Dr. Safouri.
Prof. Al-Ramahi emphasized that
signing the agreement represents a qualitative step toward strengthening the
university's role in serving the community and empowering youth.
"At Zarqa University, we
believe that digital media has become an influential tool in shaping awareness.
Hence, our partnership with the Nama Charity Foundation opens new horizons for
our students in the field of meaningful content creation, thus consolidating
the university's position as an incubator for creativity and social responsibility",
Al-Ramahi said.
Dr. Safouri explained that the new
studio is an advanced platform for students, providing them with an integrated
practical environment for training and honing their skills.
He added that this project will give
our students the opportunity to produce dialogue and awareness programs that
highlight societal issues. It will also allow them to interact with the latest
digital broadcasting tools, enabling them to compete in the local and regional
media labor market.
Mr. Al-Otaibi expressed his pride in
the partnership with Zarqa University, praising the efforts of the Faculty of
Media in embracing pioneering youth initiatives.
"Our support for the podcast
studio at Zarqa University stems from our deep belief in the role of youth in
leading positive change in Arab societies. Through this agreement, we seek to
provide quality content that enhances awareness and culture, focusing on
spreading human values and success stories that inspire future
generations", he said.
