On Tuesday, July 15^th, 2025, Zarqa University held a specialized traffic safety awareness course presented by the Jordanian Traffic Institute. The course targeted drivers from the university's Traffic Department, as part of its ongoing efforts to promote a culture of safety and traffic accident prevention.

The two-day course aims to enhance the efficiency of drivers by equipping them with knowledge and skills related to traffic rules, safe driving techniques, and accident prevention, thus contributing to enhancing safety on and off campus.

Prof. Dr. Nidal Al-Ramahi, Zarqa University President, emphasized the importance of these awareness courses in enhancing professional awareness among employees. He noted that the university places great importance on providing a safe work environment through continuous training and cooperation with relevant authorities.

He added that targeting drivers in the Traffic Division falls within the framework of the university's vision to instill a culture of commitment and responsibility, given their pivotal role in ensuring the safety of student and staff transportation and reducing traffic hazards on campus.

The course was attended by Mr. Ali Noman, the Director of the Traffic Division, and a number of drivers and employees, who expressed their appreciation for such initiatives, which contribute to raising awareness and occupational safety and enhancing their ability to implement best traffic practices in their workplaces.
