Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Nidal
Al-Ramahi, Zarqa University President, and in the presence of His Excellency Engineer
Samir Habashneh, the Chairman of the University's Board of Trustees, Zarqa
University celebrated the graduation of the 28th class, "The
Nashama Class," on Tuesday, July 8th, 2025, for the second
semester of the 2024/2025 academic year.
The graduation ceremony was held
over two consecutive days (Tuesday and Wednesday, July 8th – 9th,
2025). The first day included the graduation of students from the Faculties of
Economics and Administrative Sciences, Sharia, Arts, Educational Sciences,
Pharmacy, Information Technology, Arts and Design, and Media.
The second day witnessed the
graduation of students from the Faculties of Nursing, Allied Medical Sciences,
Law, Graduate Studies, Engineering and Technology, and Science, in addition to
students from Zarqa Intermediate Technical College.
The university named the graduates
"Fuj Al-Nashama" (The Brave Patch) to coincide with the Jordanian
national team's historic qualification for the 2026 World Cup. This honor
embodies the spirit of determination, perseverance, and ambition of Jordanian
youth, and serves as a message of pride and appreciation for the sons of the
nation who uphold its name in various forums.
The university also expressed its
best wishes to its graduates for success in their academic and professional
lives, enabling them to contribute to the service of their country and its wise
Hashemite leadership.
Prof. Al-Ramahi emphasized that
Zarqa University always strives to provide the nation with distinguished
academic competencies capable of achieving sustainable development. He
explained the university's commitment to providing an advanced educational
environment in accordance with the highest standards of quality and academic
accreditation.
He added that the university has
achieved numerous academic and administrative accomplishments thanks to the
continuous support of the Board of Directors of Zarqa Educational and
Investment Company, headed by His Excellency Dr. Mahmoud Abu Shaira, who spares
no effort in supporting the university's progress and developing its facilities
and academic plans.
Al-Rumaihi noted that the university
pays special attention to its students by providing them with the academic and
practical skills that enable them to keep pace with the demands of the local
and regional labor market. He emphasized the ongoing work to update programs
and plans to keep pace with the latest scientific and technological
developments.
He concluded by emphasizing that the
university is moving forward with implementing its strategic plans to expand
academic programs, enhance scientific research, and serve the community, thus
strengthening its pioneering role locally and regionally.
Dr. Mukhled Al-Zoubi, Dean of
Students’ Affairs, emphasized that the graduation ceremony is the result of the
integrated efforts of students, faculty and administrative staff, and parents
who have provided their children with every form of support throughout their
years of study.
Al-Zoubi also explained the Deanship
of Students’ Affairs' keenness to organize the ceremony in a manner befitting
the joy of the graduates and their families, noting that the university will
continue to provide care and support to its students during their studies and
after graduation.
Al-Zoubi congratulated the
graduating students and their families on this achievement, which represents
the beginning of a new phase of giving and creativity in serving the nation.
