Dr. Ammar Salim Ali Deeb, a faculty
member at the Faculty of Medical Sciences at Zarqa University, participated in
the international conference titled "Novel Concepts in Innate
Immunity," which was recently held at the University of Tübingen in
Germany, one of the world's most prestigious research universities in the
fields of medicine and life sciences, from June 10th to 13th,
2025.
Dr. Deeb participated by presenting
a scientific study on genetic polymorphisms of anti-inflammatory cytokines in
Jordanian atherosclerosis patients. In his presentation, he reviewed the
potential effects of these genetic variations on the immune response and the
risk of cardiovascular disease.
The research received significant
attention from participants, given its important medical implications in the
fields of personalized medicine and understanding the genetic mechanisms
associated with chronic diseases.
This participation reflects Zarqa

Dr. Kawthar Amawi, the Dean of the Faculty
