As part of
strengthening partnerships and communication with relevant stakeholders, the Faculty
of Nursing at Zarqa University held its regular meeting on Sunday, May 11th,
2025, with the participation of a number of employers and local community
partners.
The meeting
was attended by Dr. Ahmed Rayan, the Dean of the Faculty, along with Ms.
Kholoud Makhoul, Director of Nursing at Zarqa Governmental Hospital; Engineer
Hiba Ahmed, representing the Zarqa First Education Directorate; and Nurse
Abdullah Fayyad from the Middle East Center for Special Education.
Dr. Rayan
welcomed the attendees, reviewing the Faculty's vision, mission, and strategic
plan, emphasizing the importance of partnering with local community
institutions in supporting the educational and training process.
The meeting
discussed mechanisms for activating partner membership in the Faculty's various
committees and the effective role expected of them in developing the practical
training environment and improving educational outcomes. The meeting also
included an introductory tour of the Faculty's laboratories to review the
available facilities and equipment.
The
attendees listened to the guests' comments and suggestions, which focused on
ways to enhance cooperation, improve practical training opportunities for
students, and advance the educational process at the Faculty.
This meeting
is part of the Faculty's ongoing efforts to build complementary relationships
with local community institutions, contributing to achieving quality standards
and excellence in nursing education and training.
