Dr. Enas
Al-Mazari, from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Zarqa University, participated in
the 11th Annual International Conference on Diabetes, as part of the
13th Annual International Conference on Health and Medical Sciences.
The
conference was held in Athens, Greece, from May 5th to 8th,
2025, with the participation of a select group of researchers and academics
from around the world.
Dr.
Al-Mazari presented a research paper entitled: "Curcumin Modulation of
Liver Immune Cell Invasion and Inflammatory Markers in Diabetic Mouse
Models."
This
research aims to study the role of curcumin in reducing inflammation and
improving liver health in diabetic animal models, by assessing its effect on
immune cell invasion and inflammatory markers, such as tumor necrosis factor
alpha (TNF-α) and interleukin 6 (IL-6).
Zarqa
University's participation in this conference stems from its commitment to
supporting scientific research and actively participating in international
scientific forums, enhancing its academic and research standing at the global
level.
