The Faculty of Nursing at Zarqa
University, in cooperation with the Digital E-Health Association, held a
scientific lecture entitled "Artificial Intelligence and Digital
E-Health" on Monday, April 28th, 2025.
The lecture aimed to raise awareness
of the importance of integrating artificial intelligence technologies into the
healthcare sector and to enhance the knowledge of academic staff and students
about modern digital developments.
The lecture, delivered by Dr. Najib
Al-Sharbaji, President of the Digital E-Health Association, targeted faculty
members and students of the university's health faculties, in the presence of Dr.
Ahmed Rayyan, the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing.
On the sidelines of the lecture, Dr.
Anas Khalifa from Zarqa University gave a scientific presentation on artificial
intelligence and its applications in the field of nursing, highlighting recent
innovations that contribute to improving the quality of healthcare.
Dr. Rayyan emphasized that
organizing this joint lecture with the Digital eHealth Society stems from the faculty's
commitment to keeping pace with rapid developments in modern health
technologies and enhancing the knowledge of students and academic staff about
the latest technologies in the healthcare sector.
He explained that this lecture
represents an important scientific platform for discussing the opportunities
and challenges posed by artificial intelligence, especially in light of the
accelerating global trend toward digital transformation in healthcare services.
He noted that the integration of these technologies directly contributes to
improving the quality of medical care and enhancing the efficiency of
healthcare performance.
He also explained that the Faculty
of Nursing always seeks to build knowledge partnerships with leading
institutions to enhance the educational experience and link academic aspects
with practical application. He emphasized the faculty's commitment to achieving
academic and professional leadership in the field of nursing and digital healthcare.
At the conclusion of the lecture,
Dr. Rayyan presented Dr. Al-Sharbaji with an honorary shield in recognition of
his distinguished efforts in supporting the digital health sector and enhancing
academic knowledge of modern technologies.
