On Monday, March 24th,
2025, Zarqa University received a delegation from the French Embassy and the
United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to facilitate e-learning
for French scholarship students.
The French Embassy was represented
by Ms. Hana Raqem, Second Counselor at the French Embassy in Jordan, and Dr.
Awad Al-Sheikh, representing the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees
(UNHCR), in coordination with Prof. Dr. Khaled Al-Zeidin, the Dean of Admission
and Registration at Zarqa University, and in the presence of Dr. Mukhled
Al-Zoubi, the Dean of Students’ Affairs. The delegation distributed computers
to scholarship students for use in their studies and to facilitate access to
e-learning.
Prof. Al-Zeidin emphasized that this
visit affirms the strategic partnership and ongoing cooperation to support
students and enhance their academic opportunities.
He pointed out that the distribution
of laptops to French scholarship students reflects the donor community's shared
commitment to empowering youth and providing a modern educational environment
that keeps pace with technological developments.
