In line with its vision to develop
and refine students' skills, the Faculty of Science at Zarqa University
celebrated World Science Day on Thursday, January 2, 2025.
The event was attended by the Dean
of the Faculty of Science, Dr. Alia Burqan; the Dean of Graduate Studies, Dr.
Ibrahim Ghubar; physics instructor, Ms. Dua’ Al-Khalili; the Head of the
Activities Committee, Dr. Ibrahim Saleh; along with faculty members and
students.
The celebration aimed to highlight
the importance of linking mathematics and physics and their applications.
Students participated in innovative scientific competitions in physics and
mathematics, creating an interactive and enthusiastic atmosphere that
captivated the audience.
Dr. Alia Burqan emphasized the
significance of holding scientific days, noting their positive role in
enriching students’ knowledge by showcasing research projects and reflecting on
the achievements and contributions of scientists in various scientific fields.
She further noted that the faculty
remains committed to organizing lectures, seminars, and scientific events with
the participation of experts to refine students’ skills and prepare them to
enter the job market with high competence.
