In the presence of His Excellency Dr. Mahmoud Abu Shaira, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zarqa Educational and Investment Company, and His Excellency Eng. Samir Habashneh, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zarqa University, Prof. Dr. Nidal Al-Ramahi, the President of Zarqa University, sponsored the graduation ceremony of the twenty-eighth batch of students for the summer semester 2023-2024, on Wednesday October 9th, 2024.

The first ceremony included the graduation of students from the faculties of Economics, Administrative Sciences, Arts, Sharia, Media, Information Technology, and Technological Engineering, while the second ceremony included the graduation of students from the faculties of Science, Law, Nursing, Pharmacy, Educational Sciences, Allied Medical Sciences, Arts and Design, in addition to students from Zarqa Intermediate Technical Faculty.

Prof. Dr. Nidal Al-Ramahi, said that the university is steadily moving towards achieving its vision and mission in graduating a group of the nation's sons who will write their achievements by building the nation with their knowledge acquired from this generous and distinguished institution.

He added that the university seeks to develop students and qualify them to serve the community and the nation to participate in achieving comprehensive and sustainable development in Jordan by providing them with the necessary knowledge, science, and skills.

He pointed out that the development and prosperity achieved by the university would not have been achieved without the continuous support of the Board of Directors of Zarqa Company for Education and Investment, headed by Dr. Mahmoud Abu Shaira, by providing advanced classrooms, lecture halls, and scientific laboratories and equipping them in line with the requirements of higher education and its foundations, and developing the foundations of scientific research and activating it in the best possible way to contribute to finding a solution to the problems facing Jordanian society.

He pointed out that the university has made great strides in many areas, the most important of which are scientific research, quality assurance, community service, holding international conferences, signing agreements, creating new specializations that are compatible with the labor market, attracting foreign students, and qualified members of the teaching and administrative staff, paying attention to infrastructure, the efficiency of graduates, promoting outstanding students, and paying attention to extracurricular activities, in addition to holding courses in their various forms, and providing distinguished student services.

In turn, Prof. Dr. Majed Al-Musaeda, Dean of Students’ Affairs, said that the university has become a beacon of science and scientists, and is adorned with the graduation of a new batch of its students armed with science and knowledge, stressing that the university spares no effort to motivate its students to excel and innovate in order to build this country and serve the nation, congratulating the graduates of this batch on the occasion of reaping the fruits of their hard work and diligence.

At the end of the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Nidal Al-Ramahi and Prof. Dr. Khaled Al-Zaidin, Dean of Admissions and Registration, honored the top specializations and handed over certificates to the graduating students, in the presence of the deans of the faculties, members of the teaching and administrative staff, and the families of the students.
