On Sunday, May 12^th, 2024, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Zarqa University held a lecture on “Celiac Patients and the Role of the Pharmacist,” presented by members of the Celiac Patient Care Association to Faculty staff and students.

The lecture was presented by Ms. Abida Al-Qaisi, President of the Society, and Dr. Siham Hamza, Head of the Scientific Committee of the Society.

The lecture addressed scientific aspects about the nature of the disease, its causes, and the role of the pharmacist in providing correct medication care and advice for celiac disease patients.

Dr. Ahlam Al-Kilani, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, stressed the Faculty’s constant keenness to hold awareness lectures for students because of its role in guiding them, refining their skills, and employing their potential and practical skills.
