On Thursday, December 7, 2023,
the President of Zarqa University, Prof. Nidal Al-Ramhi, welcomed a delegation
from Raden Fatah Islamic University, a state university in Indonesia, led by
the university president, Prof. Nyayu Khodijah. The purpose of the meeting was
to sign a memorandum of understanding between the two universities.
The agreement focused on
enhancing mutual cooperation between the two universities and opportunities for
student and academic exchange visits in the future.
The meeting was attended by the
Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Alaeddin Sadeq, the Vice President
for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Nidal Eshah, the Dean of Admissions and
Registration, Prof. Dr. Khaled Ziyadeen, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics
and Administrative Sciences, Prof. Dr. Tareq Mbayyedin, the Dean of the Faculty
of Sharia, Prof. Dr. Anas Al-Khalayleh, and the Dean of the Faculty of
Technological Engineering, Prof. Dr. Taysir Ghanem, and the Dean of the Faculty
of Law, Prof. Dr. Omar Al-Makhzoumi.
Al Ramhi welcomed the Indonesian
delegation and members of the Indonesian embassy in Amman, providing an overview
of the university and its development in various fields. He emphasized the
university's commitment to cooperation in various areas of mutual interest,
contributing to the exchange of experiences and positively impacting the
educational process.
The visit included a lecture by
the Indonesian delegation on women's liberation and their participation in
leadership positions, attended by several university students. Following the
lecture, the delegation toured the university and some of its departments,
expressing admiration for the university's achievements, development, and its
various specializations and programs.
