A workshop on the Jordanian National Framework for Academic Qualifications and Program Accommodation was held at Zarqa University on Thursday, 11/30/2023, with participation from vice deans, their assistants, department heads, assistant deans for quality affairs, and quality liaison officers.
The University President, Professor Dr. Nidal Al Ramahi, said that Zarqa University operates according to an integrated system that seeks to improve and enhance the quality of learning and teaching and provide an appropriate educational environment that supports the university student in his educational career to be more creative and distinguished, which reflects positively on improving and improving learning outcomes, and increasing the efficiency and framing of qualifications.
According to Professor Dr. Alaeddine Sadeq, Vice President for Academic Affairs, the workshop will focus on the practical aspects of accommodating programs, as well as shed light on the participatory process between the authority and the university.
A number of faculty members specialized in quality reviewed the mechanism of work of the Jordanian National Qualifications Framework, which includes a hierarchical classification of all levels of qualifications and certificates associated with higher education programs, general education, and vocational and technical training. Their focus was on the need to coordinate and organize higher education outcomes with the needs of the local and regional labor market for skills and competencies necessary for change and development.
