The Inauguration of the Training Program for New Faculty Members at Zarqa University

On Monday 02/10/2023, the Vice President of the University for Academic Affairs,, Prof. Dr. AlaEddin Sadeq inaugurated the Program for Preparing New Faculty Members for the Academic Year 2023/2024, which was organized by the Faculty of Educational Sciences in cooperation with the Development and Quality Assurance Unit at the University.

Prof. Sadeq said that what we aspire to is to make every possible effort to enhance our scientific and academic journey, build a person armed with knowledge, to be a useful individual in society, and to preserve and advance the high position of our university so that it remains in the first ranks and in the advanced ranks on the map of Arab and international classifications.

He focused on the main objectives of the induction program represented in helping the participants to make a positive and effective contribution to achieving the university's mission to ensure the provision of high-quality active education for students and to exert maximum efforts to produce distinguished scientific research in addition to the optimal investment of resources and community service.

The Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Dr. Reda Al-Mawadiyah, explained that the program will discuss several axes related to regulations and instructions, e-learning and scientific research, noting the importance of the current stage in light of the Corona pandemic.

The program, which will be conducted over four days, will discuss matters related to academic accreditation at the university, its systems and regulations, mechanisms for supporting scientific research, strategic planning, dealing with university students, electronic examinations, constructing achievement tests, research strategy in databases, and statistical applications for scientific research purposes. Additionally, it will cover teaching planning.
