As part of its
regular meetings dedicated to student support programs, Zarqa University hosted
a meeting with VIP.FUND, represented by Ms. Rasha Ajalyaqeen, a member of the
board of directors of the organization, who presented a session about the
EDseed platform for Syrian students. Also in attendance were Prof. Dr. Khaled
Alzeaideen, the Dean of Admissions and Registration, and Mr. Ibrahim Al-Hariri,
the platform coordinator at Zarqa University.
This visit is part of the regular meetings of the project aimed at
communicating with students, monitoring their academic affairs, and introducing
the VIP.fund platform, which aims to assist students in conflict-affected areas.
Ms. Ajlouni praised Zarqa University and the services it provides
to students, while the students expressed their gratitude to Zarqa University,
represented by Dr. Mahmoud Abu Shaira, Chairman of the Board of Directors of
the Zarqa Educational and Investment Company, Professor Dr. Nidal Al Ramahi,
the University President, and the faculty and administrative staff for their
care and attention within the university.
It is worth noting that the partnership between Zarqa University
and VIP.FUND has been in place since 2019 through the signing of a memorandum
of understanding that regulates the relationship between the two parties and
focuses on supporting students.
