In collaboration with the Public Security Directorate, Zarqa University organized an awareness lecture for university bus drivers on Tuesday, September 26, 2023.

Major Alaa Al-Amour, Director of Zarqa Patrols, explained that the high number of traffic accidents, injuries and deaths, the high number of violations, and modern cars' technological and technological advancements led to the amendment of the effective traffic law, in order to ensure the highest levels of traffic security while preserving lives and property.

In order to reduce traffic accidents and stop the continuous bloodshed on the roads, Al-Amour called on all community institutions and individuals to partner together. He particularly emphasized the importance of universities, as beacons of knowledge.

Professor Dr. Nidal Al Ramahi, the President of the University, confirmed that the course seeks to increase the efficiency of drivers in the Traffic Division, hone their security skills, develop their skills, and gain practical and cognitive experience.

For many years, Zarqa University has been regarded as a leader in the application of security and safety standards among Jordanian universities, due to its modern surveillance systems covering all its buildings and grounds, in addition to the latest equipment for its drivers, which ensures achieving comprehensive security requirements on the university campus and making it a violence-free zone.
