The Faculty of Pharmacy at Zarqa University, represented by academic
staff and students, participated in the sixteenth Jordanian Pharmaceutical
Conference held from 14-18 August 2023, organized by the Pharmacists Syndicate
with researchers from various Arab and foreign countries.
Pharmacist Lina Al-Shagalil won first place in the scientific poster
competition, and pharmacist Abdullah Ziadna won second place in the
professional poster competition, in addition to the participation of Dr.
Muhammad Abu Asab, Dr. Rana Abu Ta’imah, and Dr. Jihad Nasser Al-Din in
presentations on the latest scientific and professional developments in the
pharmaceutical field.
Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Ahlam Al-Kilani, said that the
conference highlights the role of pharmacists in developing halal medicines and
pharmaceutical preparations and encourages scientific research on this subject.
This enriches the university student's role in all fields.
The Faculty of Pharmacy is keen to participate in scientific
conferences to provide students with skills and experience. It is also keen to
activate their role after graduation in the labor market.
