Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Nidal Al-Ramahi, Zarqa University President, and in the presence of Dr. Mahmoud Abu Shaira, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Zarqa Educational and Investment Company, and His Excellency Engineer Samir Al-Habashneh, Chairman of the University's Board of Trustees, Zarqa University celebrated the graduation of a group of students from its twenty-ninth cohort for the summer semester of 2024-2025.

The ceremony, attended by faculty members and the students' families, was organized in three stages. The first ceremony included the graduation of students from the Faculties of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Law, Technological Engineering, Sharia, and Pharmacy. While the second ceremony included the graduation of students from the faculties of Information Technology, Arts, Nursing, Science and Media. The university concluded its celebrations with the third graduation ceremony for the faculties of graduate studies, educational Sciences, Allied Medical Sciences, and Arts and Design.

In his speech, Prof. Al-Ramahi emphasized that Zarqa University continues its national and educational role in preparing a generation of academically and practically qualified youth capable of serving their country and competing in the local, regional, and international labor market.

He pointed out that the graduation of the twenty-ninth cohort reflects the great efforts exerted by the university's students and faculty members and affirms the university's commitment to developing its academic programs in line with the needs of the times and the requirements of sustainable development.

"The university's vision is based on preparing a well-rounded university student in character, knowledge, and skills. We seek to instill the values ​​of belonging, responsibility, and teamwork, so that university graduates become role models for society and a strong lever for the development process in their homeland. Today, we celebrate the fruits of years of study, learning, and practical training, and we are proud of this achievement, which embodies the university's successes in all academic, research, and cultural fields", Al-Ramahi said.

He added that the university always seeks to provide an innovative educational environment that supports creativity, scientific research, and community initiatives. He stressed that this environment allows students to gain the necessary experience to face the challenges of the future. He also thanked the faculty members who have made great efforts to guide and care for the students over the years, expressing his gratitude to the parents for their continued support.

"Today, we see the fruits of our joint work, and we celebrate graduates who will contribute to the development of society and the economy, and represent a bright image of our country. They are truly ambassadors for their university and their country", he said.

For his part, Dr. Mukhled Al-Zoubi, the Dean of Students’ Affairs, emphasized that the graduation celebration represents the culmination of an academic career filled with giving and effort. He pointed out that the deanship has been keen to provide a supportive environment for students, including academic programs and cultural, social, sports, and artistic activities, which contribute to refining their personalities, developing their skills, and motivating them to innovate and create.

"Today, we celebrate a generation of graduates who represent Jordan's promising future. Graduates who have acquired the knowledge and skills that qualify them to face challenges and who have shouldered responsibility from the beginning until their graduation. We are proud of their academic and personal achievements. The role of the deanship is not limited to academic aspects only, but extends to supporting students in everything that contributes to developing their personalities and honing their leadership and social capabilities", Al-Zoubi said.

He added that the university is proud of its graduates, who represent a bright image of the nation's future. He added that celebrating this day is a message of appreciation and pride for every student, a means of supporting their families and professors. He wished them a prosperous future filled with success and excellence in their professional and academic lives, emphasizing that the university will continue to support them at every stage of their professional lives.

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates to the graduates and the taking of commemorative photos, which captured the joy of the students and their families, in an atmosphere that reflected a sense of belonging and pride in Zarqa University and the distinguished academic institution it represents.
