Cooperation Agreement with Taqaddom Pharmaceutical Industries

On Tuesday, August 26th, 2025, Zarqa University signed a cooperation and training agreement with Taqaddom Pharmaceutical Industries (TQ Pharma). The agreement aims to provide specialized training opportunities for students in the Faculty of Pharmacy and enhance areas of research and applied cooperation between the two parties. This will contribute to the development of the national pharmaceutical industry and the graduation of qualified personnel capable of meeting the requirements of the local and regional markets.

The agreement was signed on behalf of Zarqa University by Prof. Nidal Al-Ramahi, its President, and on behalf of Taqaddom Pharmaceutical Industries by Dr. Farouk Murad, its Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Manager. The agreement was attended by Dr. Ahlam Zaid Al-Kilani, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy; Dr. Al-Sayed Al-Arabi Salam, Advisor and Director of the Scientific Research Center; Dr. Muhammad Suleiman, Director of Factories and Manufacturing Projects; and Dr. Talat Abu Shamala, Director of the Factory Administration.

The meeting discussed prospects for cooperation with the Pharmaceutical Research Center, including developing joint research projects and supporting innovation in the pharmaceutical industry, in addition to teaching Master's courses in pharmaceutical industry and supervising master's theses. This will be achieved by strengthening cooperation between industry and academia to find practical scientific solutions to the challenges facing the sector.

Prof. Al-Ramahi emphasized that the university places great importance on establishing effective partnerships with the industrial sector, considering this agreement a model for integrating academic education with practical application, which will positively impact students, society, and the Jordanian pharmaceutical market.

He added that the signing of the agreement stems from the university's commitment to strengthening partnerships with the pharmaceutical industry and developing students' skills and qualifying them to meet the requirements of the labor market.

Dr. Al-Kilani highlighted the importance of this partnership in enabling the Faculty's students to receive quality practical training within an advanced industrial environment, emphasizing that the agreement represents a strategic step towards enhancing applied scientific research and developing graduates' capabilities to meet the needs of the local and regional market.
