On Tuesday, August 5th,
2025, Prof. Dr. Nidal Al-Ramahi, Zarqa University President, honored the
faculty members participating in the "Certified Resident" Program for
the university's health faculties.
The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr.
Nidal Aisha, the Vice President for Administrative Affairs; Prof. Dr. Alaa
Eddin Sadeq, the Vice President for Academic Affairs; and Prof. Dr. Reda
Al-Mawadhiya, Head of the Faculty Performance Development Unit and the Dean of
the Faculty of Educational Sciences, along with a number of faculty deans and
faculty members from the health faculties, attended the event.
The program aims to develop the
skills of faculty members at Arab universities, particularly in medical
specialties, in the areas of measurement and evaluation in medical education,
contributing to improving the quality of the educational process and enhancing
its outcomes.
Prof. Al-Ramahi emphasized that this
program falls within the framework of the university's commitment to enhancing
the efficiency of academic staff and raising the level of professional
performance in educational and administrative aspects. He noted that the
university supports such qualitative programs, which positively impact student
performance and educational outcomes.
Al-Ramahi added that the university
is continuing to implement its strategy aimed at empowering faculty members
with modern skills by engaging them in accredited training and development
programs, in accordance with accreditation and quality assurance standards.
Prof. Al-Mawadhiya emphasized that
the participation of faculty members in this program reflects the university's
commitment to keeping pace with developments in medical education and promoting
a culture of assessment and evaluation. He explained that the program provided
participants with scientific tools and applied methodologies that are in line
with international best practices in this field.
Mawadhiya indicated that the Faculty
Performance Development Unit continues to organize training programs and
workshops aimed at developing academic and educational skills, in line with the
university's vision of academic excellence and sustainable quality.
