The Zarqa University Board of Trustees, headed by His Excellency Engineer Samir Habashneh, Chairman of the Board, visited the university's Faculty of Media on Thursday, July 31st, 2025, as part of its periodic tours to closely examine the academic specializations and educational facilities.

During the visit, the Board members listened to a brief explanation of the academic programs and activities implemented by the Faculty, in addition to a review of the practical aspects and field experience students undergo as part of their study plans, and the mechanism of the educational process within the Faculty.

Dr. Amjad Safouri, the Dean of the Faculty of Media, gave a detailed presentation on the specializations and programs offered at the faculty and the future vision for developing the educational process in line with academic quality standards and the requirements of the local labor market.

He also reviewed the technical capabilities and technological equipment available at the Faculty, noting the radio and television studios, the recently established podcast studio, and the "Liqaa" radio station, which serves as an interactive training platform that contributes to honing students' media skills and enhancing their field experience.

Dr. Safouri emphasized that the Board of Trustees' visit represents significant moral support for the faculty and reflects the council's keenness to closely monitor academic developments. He noted the importance of this type of communication in promoting academic excellence and media creativity.

He added that the faculty is constantly developing its study plans and curricula to keep pace with developments in the media sector and enhance students' capabilities and practical skills, enabling them to compete efficiently and competently in the job market.
