The Council of Deans of Zarqa
University decided to name the 28th class of graduates from the
second semester of its academic year "Al-Nashama."
The naming of this class
"Al-Nashama Class" coincides with the historic achievement of the
Jordanian national team, qualifying for the 2026 World Cup for the first time
in its history. This move reflects the university's commitment to national
achievement and its pride in the deep-rooted Jordanian identity.
Prof. Nidal Al-Ramahi, the President
of Zarqa University, emphasized that the decision to name the 28th class
"Al-Nashama" aims to instill in the graduates a sense of pride and
patriotism, and to motivate them to continue their journey of giving and
success in their academic and professional lives. Al-Ramahi added that the
university is keen each year to choose a symbolic name for the group that
reflects the national and humanitarian values and achievements of Jordanians
in various fields. He noted that naming the team "Al-Nashama" is a
message of appreciation to the national team and to everyone who contributes to
raising Jordan's profile.
He pointed out that Zarqa University
continues its pioneering role in qualifying national competencies academically
and practically, in addition to its commitment to instilling the values of
belonging and social responsibility, so that its graduates become ambassadors
of knowledge and the nation everywhere.
