Zarqa University concluded a series
of master's theses examinations in the Faculties of Arts, Engineering
Technology, and Pharmacy for the second semester, during which several academic
theses were examined.
In the Faculty of Arts, English
Language and Literature, student Sara Abdul Karim Suleiman Al-Shurafa defended
her master's thesis, entitled "Sensations of the Sublime in Emily Brontë's
Wuthering Heights and Nathaniel Hawthorne's The Scarlet Letter: A Comparative
Study," under the supervision of Dr. Dania Abdul Rahman Al-Marian.
Dr. Dania Abdel Rahman Al-Marian
also supervised the thesis of student Khalil Abdel Fattah Mahmoud Hussein,
entitled: "Consolidating Israeli Identity and Erasing Palestinian Culture
in the Return to Haifa and Jenin Mornings".
Student Al-Hassan Ali Muhammad
Al-Zayout defended his master's thesis titled "Exploring Contrasting
Perspectives: A Comparative Analysis of the Poem "Does My Team Plow?"
by Alfred Edward Hausmann," supervised by Prof. Dr. Alaa Eddin Sadeq.
Student Ahmed Mohammed Adeeb Ahmed
Kassab defended his master's thesis, entitled "The Deficiencies of
Pragmatic Rhetorical Communication and Tactful Strategies in the Series
"Mind Your Language," under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Wafa Ali Abu
Hatab.
In a related context, several
master's theses were examined at the Faculty of Engineering Technology,
Engineering Project Management Department.
Student Ahmed Mahmoud Rashid
Al-Zayoud defended his master's thesis, entitled "The Role of Emerging
Technology in Improving Engineering Project Management in the Defense Industries
Sector: A Case Study of the Jordan Design and Development Center (JODDB),"
under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hussam Damen Al-Hamaideh.
Student Moamen Awni Khalaf
Al-Shadifat defended his master's thesis, entitled "The Impact of
Construction Waste Management on Project Costs and Efficiency in Jordan,"
under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hussam Damen Al-Hamaideh.
At the Faculty of Pharmacy, a
master's thesis in pharmaceutical sciences was examined. Student Duha Osama
Mahmoud Abu Eid defended her thesis, entitled "Design and Evaluation of
3D-Printed Valsartan Tablets," under the supervision of Dr. Jihad Munther
Nasser Al-Din.
