Based on its ongoing efforts to
promote scientific research and actively participate in international
conferences, Dr. Mays Al-Zghoul from the Faculty of Engineering Technology at
Zarqa University participated in the Environmental Design, Material Science,
and Engineering Technologies (EDMSET) conference, which was held at Abu Dhabi
University - Dubai from April 22nd to 24th, 2025.
Dr. Al-Zghoul presented her research
paper, titled "A Sustainable PV Drone Design Based Delivery Systems,"
which aims to present an innovative and sustainable design for drones used in
delivery systems. These drones rely on solar energy as the primary source of
energy, equipped with photovoltaic (PV) solar panels.
The study seeks to address the
environmental and economic challenges associated with traditional fuel-based
delivery systems by offering an environmentally friendly alternative that is
energy efficient and capable of operating for longer periods without the need
for frequent charging.
This participation falls within
Zarqa University's vision to support innovation and enhance its scientific and
research presence at the regional and international levels. This is achieved by
enabling its academic staff to engage in specialized scientific events and
exchange expertise with elite researchers and specialists around the world.
