Zarqa University, represented by Dr.
Mukhled Al-Zoubi, the Dean of Students’ Affairs, participated in the Public
Security Directorate's Academic Scientific Competition on Tuesday, April 22nd,
2025.
Dr. Al-Zoubi, as part of a research
team, undertook the task of evaluating researches submitted by a number of
researchers. The Public Security Directorate (PSD) honored the winners of the
second edition of the competition during a ceremony held at the Royal Police
Academy, attended by a number of senior PSD officers.
This participation aligns with the
university's mission to support scientific research and enhance joint
cooperation with national institutions, particularly security institutions,
contributing to community service and the development of its security and
educational systems.
The ceremony also honored the
winners in specialized scientific fields that addressed various security
issues, in addition to honoring the judging panels, which included a group of
academics, specialists, and experts, along with a number of officers working in
the security apparatus.
Dr. Al-Zoubi emphasized that this
participation falls within the framework of Zarqa University's academic mission
aimed at strengthening ties of cooperation with national institutions, most
notably the Public Security Directorate.
He added that Zarqa University
believes that scientific research is the cornerstone of any real progress, and
that the integration of efforts between the field and academic institutions can
yield qualitative results that serve the nation and its citizens. He affirmed
the university's continued support for these initiatives and everything that
enhances the environment of scientific thinking and motivates national
competencies to excel and innovate.
