Zarqa University concluded its
participation in the Jordanian Universities Exhibition in the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia 2025, which was held in the cities of Riyadh and Tabuk from April 16th
to 20th, 2025, with the participation of (22) public and private
Jordanian universities and faculties.
The university was represented at
the exhibition by Prof. Dr. Khaled Al-Zaidin, the Dean of Admissions and Registration,
and Mr. Mohammed Al-Omariin, Admissions and Registration Officer. They provided
visitors with a comprehensive explanation of the academic programs offered by
Zarqa University, its distinguished specializations, and the international
accreditations it has obtained. They also highlighted the facilities and
services the university provides to international students, reflecting the
quality of education and its advanced university environment.
The Zarqa University pavilion
witnessed a large turnout of visitors and interested parties, with inquiries
focused on the university's new majors, admissions process, and tuition fees,
which reflects the growing interest of Saudi students in studying in Jordan in
general, and at Zarqa University in particular.
Al-Zaidian emphasized that the
exhibition provides an effective platform for direct communication with
students and parents, highlighting the advantages of education in Jordan in
general, and at Zarqa University in particular. He noted that the university
always strives to provide quality educational programs that keep pace with the
requirements of the local and regional labor market.
He added that Zarqa University pays
great attention to international students by providing a stimulating academic
environment and comprehensive support from the moment of admission until
graduation, which enhances their educational experience and makes them
ambassadors for the university in their countries. He emphasized the importance
of continued participation in such events, which contribute to strengthening
the presence of Jordanian education abroad.
The exhibition's activities started
in Riyadh on Wednesday, April 16th, under the patronage of Dr.
Haitham Abu Al-Foul, the Jordanian Ambassador to Riyadh. The second stop was in
Tabuk, which was inaugurated under the patronage of Ambassador Mohammed Hamid, the
Jordanian Consul General in Jeddah, amidst a remarkable turnout of visitors
from the very first moments.
The exhibition, organized by the
Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Jordan Tourism
Board, is part of the strategic plan to attract international students for the
years 2023-2027. This plan aims to promote Jordanian higher education and
enhance educational tourism in the Kingdom. The exhibition witnessed a large
turnout of Saudi students and their parents, who were able to learn about the
educational options available in Jordan and ask questions about academic
programs, tuition fees, and university life.
Zarqa University's participation in
this exhibition comes within the framework of its ongoing commitment to
supporting national efforts aimed at promoting Jordanian higher education
regionally and internationally. It stems from its vision to strengthen its
position as a leading academic institution with a distinguished academic
reputation, expand the base of international students from various Arab and foreign
countries, and provide an integrated educational model that combines academic
quality with an attractive university environment.
