Prof. Dr. Nisreen Al-Salem, the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at Zarqa University, participated in the International Dental Show (IDS), which was held in Cologne, Germany, from March 25^th to 29^th, 2025.

The exhibition is a major global event in the dental industry and is considered the largest specialized exhibition in this field worldwide, with more than (2000) companies from (65) different countries participating. In addition, scientific programs and seminars were organized with the participation of a select group of experts and specialists from around the world.

The conference included a digital platform called "IDSconnect," which provided participants with the opportunity to communicate directly and follow the latest news and updates through a mobile application.

Prof. Al-Salem indicated that this participation comes within the framework of the Faculty of Dentistry at Zarqa University's commitment to academic and scientific openness to pioneering international experiences and to keeping pace with rapid developments in this vital field. She explained that the exhibition provided a valuable opportunity for direct interaction with the latest scientific developments in therapeutic and diagnostic techniques and methods. It also provided ample scope for exchanging knowledge and expertise with representatives of prestigious academic and medical institutions. This contributes to enhancing the quality of education and training within the Faculty, supporting its efforts to develop curricula, and raising the standards of students and graduates.

Al-Salem emphasized the importance of these participations in building strategic partnerships with international institutions and opening new horizons for cooperation in the fields of scientific research, training, and academic exchange. This positively reflects Zarqa University's position regionally and internationally and enhances its role as a leading educational institution serving the scientific and medical community.
