As part of Zarqa University's
commitment to providing the best educational and academic environment for its
students, His Excellency Prof. Nidal Al-Ramahi, President of the University,
met with the university's new students for the second semester (2024-2025) on
Tuesday, March 25th, 2025.
This meeting affirms the
university's commitment to supporting students in their academic journey and
providing them with all the facilities that guarantee them a fruitful and
distinguished university experience.
The meeting was attended by Prof.
Alaa Eddin Sadeq the Vice President for Academic Affairs; Prof. Nidal Aisha, the
Vice President for Administrative Affairs; Dr. Mukhled Al-Zoubi, the Dean of
Students’ Affairs; Prof. Khaled Al-Zaidin, the Dean of Admissions and
Registration; and the deans of the Faculties.
During the meeting, the deans of the
Faculties welcomed the students and provided an overview of the academic
specializations offered by their Faculties.
In his opening remarks, Prof.
Al-Ramahi expressed his happiness at the new group of students joining the university
family. He pointed out that the university continuously strives to raise the
academic standard through advanced educational programs, modern curricula, and
facilities equipped with the latest technologies. He also emphasized its focus
on scientific research and international partnerships that contribute to
improving the quality of education, enhancing students' capabilities, and
preparing them for the demands of the labor market.
He explained that the doors of the
university's Faculties and deanships will always remain open to its students,
providing academic and administrative support and guidance, wishing them
success in their academic journey.
For his part, Dr. Al-Zoubi
emphasized the pivotal role played by the Deanship of Students’ Affairs in providing
a favorable university environment. Integrated, it seeks to provide guidance,
cultural, sports, and social services that contribute to developing students'
personalities, honing their skills, and enhancing their leadership and
communication abilities.
He pointed out the importance of
student participation in university clubs and volunteer programs, which enhance
the spirit of cooperation and teamwork and instill values of belonging to the
university and the community. He called on all new students to benefit from
these activities and engage in them, as they play a significant role in
preparing them to become influential and effective individuals in their
community.
He emphasized the need for students
to adhere to the university's regulations and instructions, and to adhere to
academic traditions, best values, and the ethics of students. He emphasized the
need to demonstrate a sense of responsibility and discipline, strive for
academic excellence, and actively participate in various extracurricular activities.
