On Friday, October 4, 2024, Zarqa University hosted a welcome celebration for new Malaysian students who will be joining Zarqa University and various Jordanian universities starting from the current fall semester.

The event was attended by the Malaysian Ambassador to Jordan, His Excellency Mr. Mohamad Nasri Bin Abdul Rahman, who sponsored the event. Also in attendance were the Cultural Counselor at the Malaysian Embassy, Dr. Ridzuan Abdul Rashid, along with members of the Malaysian Embassy staff in Jordan.

The celebration aimed to introduce the new Malaysian students to Zarqa University and other Jordanian universities, familiarizing them with university life and encouraging them to pursue their studies with dedication and sincerity.

His Excellency Ambassador Mohamad Nasri Bin Abdul Rahman thanked Zarqa University for hosting and organizing the event, and for its efforts in supporting Malaysian students. He expressed his admiration for the university and its facilities.

He also emphasized the importance of the relationship between the university and the Malaysian Cultural Attaché in Jordan, which is reflected in the strong cooperation between both parties.
