On Thursday, October 3, 2024, Zarqa
University concluded the orientation program for new faculty members for the
2024/2025 academic year. The program, organized by the Faculty of Educational
Sciences in cooperation with the University’s Development and Quality Assurance
Unit, lasted for four days.
The program’s events were attended by
the President of Zarqa University, Professor Dr. Nidal Al-Ramahi, the Vice
President for Academic Affairs, Professor Dr. Alaa Al-Din Sadiq, along with
several deans and newly appointed faculty members participating in the course.
The program aims to establish a
reference framework outlining the university's educational philosophy and
mission, and to inform faculty members of their rights, duties, roles,
responsibilities, and the commitment to the ethics of an outstanding academic
member.
Professor Dr. Nidal Al-Ramahi emphasized
the importance of this annual program, which prepares faculty members and
familiarizes them with the rules and regulations upheld by Zarqa University,
stemming from its distinguished vision that positively impacts both students
and faculty.
Vice President for Academic Affairs,
Professor Dr. Alaa Al-Din Sadiq, welcomed the new faculty members and
encouraged them to dedicate their efforts to teaching students and carrying out
the entrusted responsibility with sincerity.
The Dean of the Faculty of Educational
Sciences, Dr. Rida Al-Mawadhiya, praised the efforts of the academic staff from
various faculties for their active participation in the workshop, affirming the
university’s readiness to hold training courses aimed at enhancing their
academic and professional competencies.
