The Fundamentals of Religion Program was established in the faculty of Sharia in (1994), the year in which Zarqa University was founded, and it is considered one of the pioneering programs at the university. Students in this program obtain a bachelor's degree in the field of fundamentals of religion. The program accepts students who pass the high school exam, and students who pass the comprehensive examination of community colleges in Jordan in the specializations of Sharia. The program employs a distinguished elite of faculty members who hold a doctorate in various specializations. A graduate from this specialty can complete postgraduate studies in the disciplines of interpretation, hadith and belief, and they can work in the Ministry Of Awqaf And Islamic Affairs ،and the Ministry of Education and teach the Holy Qur'an in special institute.
