The Department of Energy Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering Technology has been keen, since its establishment in the 2014/2015 academic year, to provide the best educational means for its students by providing a distinguished group of faculty members who have doctorate degrees from universities with advanced international rankings.

The Department of Energy Engineering is also distinguished by publishing scientific research in various international journals in many energy fields such as photovoltaic energy, wind energy, solar energy and nuclear energy.

Moreover, in order to raise the efficiency of students in the academic and applied fields, alike the department has developed an integrated study plan that has been progressed in co-operation with experts in the academic field who are sufficiently aware of the labor market requirements.

Finally, to enhance the efficiency of students in practice, the department is equipped with laboratories that are considered one of the most modern laboratories specialized in the field of renewable energy at the local, and regional, levels, co-operated with energy research center in order to enable the students to adopt into the labor market upon graduation.
