About the Program
The minimum number of credit hours for the study plan for obtaining a bachelor's degree in the major is (160) credit hours as follows:
1- Specialized requirements (104) hours, including:
Compulsory requirements (95) hours:
It includes many scientific and practical materials where laboratories and workshops are equipped with appropriate equipment to implement practical fields such as:
Electrical circuits and digital logic, electrical and control instruments, power and communication electronics, measuring devices and electrical power systems
And also the mandatory requirements include (field practical training) where the duration of field training is (280) hours after the student completes at least (115) credit hours and the student is free-time for training in one of the accredited institutions and under the supervision of a faculty member from the department inside or outside Jordan and takes over the department Ensure that the training achieves its intended purposes and link the training accreditation to a number of matters, including: attendance, the extent to which the student benefits from the institution in addition to the report prepared by the student and the report and evaluation of the trained institution.
In addition to the graduation project, which will be (4) credit hours divided into project (1) by one credit hour, and project (2) by (3) credit hours over two consecutive semesters, provided that the student has completed practical training.
Elective Requirements (9) Hours:
They are specialization courses offered by the department in two fields (electrical power and communications).
