The university's vision aims to build a vibrant society with solid values to achieve a prosperous and sustainable economy, by strengthening the education system and raising its efficiency to meet the development requirements of an ambitious country that guarantees quality education for all its children and residents and enhances lifelong learning opportunities for them. Because of this vision, The Faculty of Science was established in 1994 with two academic departments: the Department of Mathematics accredited since the establishment of the university in 1994, and the Department of Physics, which was established since the establishment of the university in the name of Medical Physics.  University Requirements Unit, which was established and approved with special accreditation in 2015. The unit offers the basic courses for many departments and faculties, such as the faculties of technological engineering, pharmacy, nursing, allied medical sciences, information technology, and others. The Faculty also offers a master's program in mathematics within the graduate program.

 

The Deanship of the Faculty of Science looks forward to exploring new horizons that will make Zarqa University at the forefront of Jordanian universities that keep pace with the latest developments and the academic needs of development. That is why the faculty is constantly seeking to renew knowledge management and planning for the best methods of contemporary scientific thinking to reach the student with the best method to meet the requirements of society and the labor market with advanced entrepreneurial skills.

The Faculty is also working hard to achieve its goals, the most important of which are: applying modern technologies in teaching and learning processes, advancing scientific research and linking it to national priorities and community service, following local and international accreditation and quality assurance standards, as well as strengthening the relationship with the local community and contributing to its development, as well as building Effective partnerships with relevant institutions to support educational and training programs.
