The opening ceremony was attended by
senior officials from Zarqa Governorate. This collaboration with the King

the framework of the university's commitment to actively contribute to
supporting the state's efforts to reduce unemployment and strengthen
partnerships between educational institutions and the labor market. This is
achieved by providing quality job opportunities for graduates and creating an
appropriate environment for direct communication with participating
institutions and companies.
The Career Day aims to bring about a
qualitative shift in youth employment and open new channels for sustainable
employment by enhancing the skills of students and graduates and directing them
toward promising specializations and sectors in the local and regional markets.
"Organizing the National
Employment Day at Zarqa University affirms our commitment to our societal role
in preparing and qualifying young cadres for the labor market, and our
commitment to empowering our students to build their professional futures with
competence and confidence", said Prof. Al-Ramahi.
He emphasized that the mission of
universities is not limited to academic education alone, but extends to
contributing to finding solutions to pressing national issues, foremost among
which is the problem of unemployment.
Al-Ramahi praised the strategic
partnership with the King Abdullah II Fund for Development and the Zarqa Labor
Directorate, which played a major role in the success of this day, emphasizing
that the university will continue its efforts to organize such events
that serve the interests of students and graduates and enhance their competitiveness
in the job market.

Students’ Affairs at the university, explained that this year's Career Day
witnessed broad participation from local institutions and companies
representing various sectors. He noted that the event aims to create real job
opportunities and provide career guidance and career counseling to students.

enabling students to communicate directly with employers and equip them with
the skills necessary to integrate into the workplace. We consider this day a
real opportunity to promote a culture of productivity and self-reliance,
especially in light of the economic challenges facing Jordanian youth", he
said.
