The British Accreditation Commission (ASIC) granted the
international accreditation certificate to Zarqa University as a premier
university after it fulfilled the requirements for obtaining this accreditation
in the main criteria: buildings, health and safety, governance,
management, human resources, quality assurance, improvement, attention to
students, and attracting students.
The university obtained the British accreditation after ensuring
that the requirements for obtaining this certificate were met, including
covering and testing all standards to obtain this accreditation.
The president of the university, Prof. Nidal Al-Ramahi,
congratulated the university’s employees and students for obtaining
accreditation, stressing that the achievements of Zarqa University have
increased in recent years, which increases its responsibilities towards the
students, the educational process and the community.
He pointed out that the university and its faculties obtaining
international and local accreditation enhances the university's scientific
position and enhances the efficiency of its educational outputs.
The British International Accreditation (ASIC) is a member of the
British Quality Foundation, a member of the American Higher Education
Accreditation Council (Council for Higher Education Accreditation), and a
member of the European E-Learning Network.
