The Faculty of Media was established at Zarqa University in the second term of the academic year 2010 -2011. The faculty aims to provide the local and regional Arab community with equipped and up-to-date skilled talents in the field of media and journalism and its latest technologies. The faculty currently hosts more than 350 students who are either enrolled to study in the department of radio and television or journalism studies.

The faculty employs highly academic qualified teaching staff who are specialised in journalism and digital media studies. There are currently 10 academic staff members who hold different academic positions i.e., Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor. The faculty provides two bachelor degrees, namely, Journalism and Digital Media, and Radio and Television. It also provides a master degree in Digital Media.
