1. "Scientific Day for the Faculty of Arts at the University "Arabic Language: Civilization and Identity"
The President of Zarqa University, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Wadi, inaugurated today the work of the scientific day of the Faculty of Arts, entitled: "The Arabic Language: Civilization and Identity". Dr. Al-Wadi said, during his sponsorship of the Scientific Day, that contributing to the preservation of the Arabic language is an Islamic value, a national duty, and the consolidation of our identity, and our historical roots, adding that the eloquent Arabic language is the tongue of heritage, unity and the advantages of colloquialism in its intimacy, stressing that the scientific day embodies the scientific and cultural achievements of the college, and represents their achievements. The Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Dr. Alaa El-Din Sadiq, explained that this day comes in celebration of the Arabic language, and here we are today, we meet a group of Arabic lovers and specialists, to remain in the depths of its language and aspects of its literature, to consolidate all the view of Arabic, stressing the pioneering role played by Zarqa University, represented by its wise management, and its right presidency, in the service of Arabic, so the forums, seminars and conferences were all a clear witness to the originality of the orientation. The scientific day included: a lecture by Prof. Dr. Hussein Yaghi from the University of Jordan entitled: (A New Approach to Semantic Morphology: Verbs as a Model), and it also included a representative scene, the presentation of paintings (Data Show), poetry and prose paragraphs, thoughts, lyrical paragraphs, comedy paragraphs, an acting scene, debates, in addition to cultural competitions. At the end of the scientific day, which was attended by the deans of the faculties, heads of departments and a large number of students, Dr. Al-Wadi presented the appreciation shields to the participants.

Under the patronage of the President of Zarqa University, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Wadi, and on the occasion of the International Day of the Arabic Language, the Faculty of Arts at the university will hold the scientific day of the faculty, entitled: "The Arabic Language: Civilization and Identity", on Tuesday, 10/1/2017, in the auditorium of scientific conferences at the university. The scientific day includes several activities: poetry, thoughts, stories, plays, in addition to cultural competitions.

3. The Dean of the Faculty of Arts at the University meets the new students
Today, Tuesday, the Faculty of Arts at Zarqa University organized a meeting with new students from the Department of English Language and Translation, in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Alaa El-Din Sadiq, Vice Dean Dr. Muhammad Al-Badawi, Head of the English Language Department, Dr. Laith Al-Hadla, and faculty members in the faculty. Dr. Alaa El-Din Sadiq welcomed the new students, gave an overview of the college's establishment and development, and urged students to work hard and persevere, and the importance of adhering to the study plan and regularity in lectures, calling on students to abide by the regulations and laws and preserve the university's properties and facilities. He pointed to the importance of students' participation in the activities organized by the college, which contribute to refining and developing students' talents and motivating them to innovate, stressing that the college seeks to develop, modernize, keep pace with developments, and achieve quality assurance standards to prepare students who are able to meet the needs of the labor market and prove their efficiency.
