The Faculty of Nursing at Zarqa University is committed to prepare and train the best qualified nursing cadres, scientifically and professionally, who are able to provide distinguished nursing care to all members of society and compete in the labor market in a stimulating ethical and creative environment.

Philosophy

The philosophy of the Faculty of Nursing stems from the faculty's mission, which is aligned with the health, economic, and social priorities in Jordan and with the essence of the nursing profession, as it believes that:

The human being: is an interaction of unique and complex traits, values, and behaviors, and is influenced by many factors such as social norms, cultural values, physical characteristics, experiences, religious beliefs and practices, ethical and moral structures.

Health: is a state of physiological, psychological, social, and spiritual well-being, not just the absence of disease.

The nursing profession: is a dynamic profession that focuses on protecting, promoting, and improving health and capabilities, preventing disease and injury, alleviating suffering, caring for members of society, and promoting human flourishing through continuous nursing development, challenging traditional practices, and seeking innovative problem-solving approaches.
