August 18, 2022, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Zarqa University held the “OSCE”
exam to assess the pharmacy training course students.
aims to assess the educational attainment and clinical skill the student needs
to provide integrated pharmaceutical care.
The Dean of
the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Ahlam Al-Kilani, indicated that the Faculty of
Pharmacy has been holding the exam regularly since 2018, which in turn is
reflected in the quality of outputs and increases opportunities for networking
and partnerships with various pharmaceutical sectors.
out that the exam aims to evaluate students' performance to determine their
weaknesses and strengths and improve their skills, in addition to a practical
application of the subjects the student studied, and to ensure that the student
acquires the necessary knowledge and skills and provides the opportunity to
simulate reality and deal directly with the patient.
Evaluation Committee included experts and academics from outside the university
as external examiners and evaluators, representing academics in faculties of
pharmacy in public and private universities, pharmacists working in community
pharmacies and hospitals, and professionals in the nursing sector.
