A Media student at Zarqa University wins the King Hussein Cancer Foundation Award for Journalists

Student Salma Nassar from the Faculty of Mass Communication at Zarqa University, under the supervision of Dr. Othman Al-Tahat, received the King Hussein Cancer Foundation Award for media professionals in the field of early detection of breast cancer for the youth category.

HRH Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center, on Wednesday 14-7-2021, honored the winners of the competition prizes.

Salma Nassar presented a newspaper story about a woman's struggle against breast cancer and how she overcame the disease.

For the second year, students from the Faculty of Media at Zarqa University will receive one of the competition awards. Last year, 3 students from the college won the King Hussein Cancer Foundation for Media Awards for the category of Best Facebook Post in the Human Story Category, and the Best Photo Report Published on Instagram category in the field of social communication for university students from the faculties of journalism and media.
