Under the patronage of Dr. Mahmoud Abu Shaera', Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zarqa Company for Education and Investment, and Prof. Dr. Bassam Al-Helou, President of Zarqa University, as well as representatives of the European Commission (RESCUE) (Erasmus) attended the opening of the Refugee Student Support Unit (R_SOS UNIT) at Zarqa University.

Prof. Dr. Bassam Al-Helou welcomed the guests of the university, stressing the importance of such projects and their pioneering role in supporting the students. After that, Dr. Ashraf Shakdan, Director of the External Projects Unit at the University, presented the unit which serves 500 students from the project beneficiaries. This project is an embodiment of joint and constructive cooperation that serves refugee students in providing information on available scholarships and matters of interest to them.

At the end of the ceremony, the guests thanked Zarqa University represented by the Chairman of the Board on the good management of such projects and wish them that fruitful and constructive cooperation will continue in the interest of all.
